Bookkeeping Assistant
4 hours per week (hours are flexible)
Maintains financial and other administrative tasks as needed using QuickBooks,
Microsoft Excel, and PayPal; helps with donation box collection, picking up mail, making
bank deposits, paying bills, and keeping office files organized; reports to the Director of
Operations on a weekly basis to “check-in” on ministry updates and needs within the
community.

Database Administrator

Maintains a central database to include volunteer, donor, and community partner
network information (i.e. contact info, volunteer interests, donation amounts,
contribution dates, partner affiliations); helps with reporting and statistics using
demographic and production information; reports to the Director of Operations on a

Food Pickup Assistant
Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Travels with a Servant’s Heart driver to various grocery and restaurant partners to pick
up surplus food, load it onto the box truck, and bring it back to the ministry for
unloading and storage; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of food with no heavy
equipment use, reports to the Warehouse Manager for scheduling.

Food Packing Volunteers
Needed Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Packs food support bags for children and families in need, gleans produce, packages
meat, sorts eggs, bundles bread, creates special needs bags for vulnerable individuals,
helps out in warehouse with breaking down boxes and collecting trash/recycling,
reports to the Volunteer Coordinator for scheduling.

Office Receptionist
Needed Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Maintains lobby area for welcoming guests, signs people in for completing food
assistance applications and setting up appointments with community partners, responds
to inquiries via the digital phone system, reports to the Director of Operations on a

Volunteer Coordinator
4-6 hours per week (depending on season)
Maintains volunteer schedule and contact info, trains volunteers to pack bags, facilitates
youth and group workshops, creates good working relationships between volunteers
and fosters a sense of friendship and family through volunteer appreciation activities,
reports to the Director of Operations on a weekly basis to “check-in” on ministry
updates and needs within the community.
