DEAR MINISTRY FRIENDS AND PARTNERS,

It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the Board of Directors announces that Ms. Chloé Battle will be leaving her position as Executive Director and Board Chair of Servant’s Heart Ministry on July 13th.
Chloé will be joining the team as Center Director at JMJ Pregnancy Center in Orlando, a mission that is close to her heart. We wholeheartedly extend our prayers and best wishes to her in this future endeavor.
Her committed leadership has brought Servant's Heart through a season of change; however, she leaves us in excellent form! We are very appreciative of the work she has done and are grateful that her relationship with this ministry and its volunteers is nothing short of a phone call away.
We want to thank Chloé for her dedicated service, which involved many significant accomplishments, including: Assuming the position of Executive Director and Board Chair at a crossroads moment in the history of Servant’s Heart Ministry, Building a food donor base that affords the ministry the ability to distribute wholesome and fresh nutritious foods at minimal cost, Seeking the current ministry location and managing the movement of the operation, Applying for and winning significant grants that have sustained the ministry, Bringing fresh clarity to the mission and purpose of the ministry, Creating a larger presence of the ministry through the Central Florida Foundation, the Edyth Bush Institute, and the community at large, Partnering with human services and local government agencies to help solve hunger and homeless issues, Advocating continually on behalf of the many families and individuals that have crossed the threshold of Servant’s Heart Ministry.
We are conducting a search to find the new Servant’s Heart Ministry, Executive Director. During this transition period, it is our priority to find the best individual to lead, while still maintaining a stable and effective organization.
We will share the job announcement soon and ask for your help in identifying candidates who could help Servant’s Heart Ministry continue to serve and bless families in need.
In the meantime, tasks will be temporarily divided among the remaining members of the Servant’s Heart Ministry team and Board of Directors. In the coming days, we will celebrate Chloé and her work at Servant’s Heart. You
will receive an invitation with details very soon. It will be a wonderful opportunity for you to express your gratitude and unite with us in love and prayers for the new work God has planned for her.
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” (Psalms 37:23)
